ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Em Garcia. I am an audio engineer & theater technician in the Sacramento area. I started my journey in audio through recording for previous bands that I was in. When I started college in 2022, I took a production crew class and fell in love with live mixing. After that production, I asked the theater facilities manager if there were any more opportunities for me to keep doing sound. He hired me as a student theater technician which allowed to me to mix for dance shows, concerts, panel discussions and more. Since I started my journey, I have done freelance work at other venues and overhire work for IATSE local 50.
